Still watching, but it seems like his (first at least) complaint is that trophies are awarded for simple things. And well... some trophies are. But then some can be really challenging.

Soul Calibur IV gives you an achievement for watching the entire opening movie. Didn't realize it, until one day, I was doing other stuff, and didn't have the controller in hand. Maybe I was eating something... or in the kitchen. Predates PS3 trophies, though.

RE7 had a really nice trophy called "nice try" I thought it was a creative and funny way to use trophies.
