Wii.
They were supply constrained this season and still beat everyone else.
Next year they will have much better supply. I see a good 5m sold from black friday to xmas alone.

Do you mean this Christmas?
If so then I don't think the PS3 has much chance.
Next Christmas I couldn't say, as it is a long time from now but I would suspect Wii again.

If the ps3 is $299 and is bundled with GT5 then it has a chance, otherwise the wii.

As much as I'd like to jump on the "my favorite console will sell the most!!!" bandwagon, stof is displaying almost WoW-levels of insight here. In a few months we'll know what games Nintendo will be releasing for the second half of the year, how much Wii production is going to be increased, and wether the rumours of stockpiling for the next financial year have any truth in them. Until then, its far too early to even pretend we can say anything with reasonable accuracy. |
I think this about sums it up. It's far far too early to be making calls on this yet.
The Wii will sell like crazy this cmas. Many casual only buy vgs around holidays or birthdays, and nintendo will have plenty of supply this year. The Wii will break 1 million WW multiple time during holiday 08. PS3 may hit 800k on it best week(the week before cmas)
psn- tokila
add me, the more the merrier.
Wii would do better this christmas this year than last year, with wii fit to give as a perfect christmas gift alongside with a wii, and many other games coming out and hopefully the shortage problems would be resolved, wii could have good christmas this year, maybe even better than last year
the wii, with mario kart and wii fit its going to have a huge holiday season

My predictions:
NA: Wii > PS3
JAPAN: Wii > PS3
OTHERS: PS3 > Wii
OVERALL: Wii > PS3
