133k for psp wow!, 12 k for ps3 disappointing!
Seriously, when will sony start getting people to develop some real japanese games for the PS3. The PS2 was so successful because it had Final Fantasy and japanese-centric games. I cant think of many games that the PS3 has that really attract japanese gamers other than Hot Shots golf and DW6 and both of those boosted sales a fair amount.
12K? Absolutely awful, seriously Sony get your act together before its too late. Final Fantasy XIII can only do so much.

It kinda sucks for Sony, because most games have to be created to fit Japanese likes, which usually makes it horrible to everyone else.
When Nintendo makes their games they have worldwide appeal, and don't have to isolate anyone.
I'm not saying Nintendo didn't work hard on that and make sure it worked, but Sony obviously hasn't be able to do what Nintendo does.
wii numbers are actually high for japan compared to u.s. Apparently Japan is into handhelds Psp and Ds are killing over there

Software drives the hardware. No titles, no hardware sales. PSP + Monster hunter 2g = huge hardware sales. PS3 + nothing = very low hardware sells. Really nothing new here. Microsoft is no better. As much as we think there are some great games out now, no so much for the Japanese audience. Gee Sony and Microsoft, maybe the Japanese audience wants, I don't know.... JRPG's. It's just a hunch but maybe someone should look into that.
I'm just saying...
The PS3 is in dire trouble, Sony really needs to get a lot of software out for the Japanese market
Not even the wii is doing as great as ds or Psp even though they psp and wii are in the same price range!
