I think that although Carmack's ex employee non disclosure was an issue ,the bigger issue was his selling ID to Zenimax and that means all their IP and it's all on record , and not facing the fact that it's not yours to use carte-blanche any longer even though you may have created it . It wasn't like a Company sueing some guy who's hobby hit pay dirt ,while he worked for them.
