Stayed up late last night to finish this game. Overall, this was a perfect experience for me. I really can't think of many bad things to say, from the demo to the end this game was fun, beaufitul in atompshere, sound (epsecially in 5.1 surround) is wonderful, the action and suspense is intense, scary as ever and really pulled me with the story and plot twists. there were 2 points in the game that REALLY had me shivering and or eyes closed. (spoilers) 1. i HATE HATE HATE HATE centepieds and any crawly thing with thousands of legs, so that shimey through the walls with all those ....(shudders).... o man that would made me pass out in VR. and 2. I can't gel with creepy kids in scary moves, it just disturbs me through and through, so being upstairs in that kids room....yeah i had my hand over my eyes, moving as slow as possible. (END SPOILERS)

I've enjoyed all the RE games (except operation raccoon city, bleh!) but the last game to have me feeling like this was RE4 for all the same reasons above.

I have to agree, the game is amazing!!! Many reviewers said the boss fight were bad, but i loved them!
The only 2 things that let me down were the puzzles (pretty easy), and that the enemies don't go with the tone of the game.

Everyone is gushing for the game, meanwhile I'm sitting here waiting for the actual return to roots with REmake 2, the Resi game I've wanted for years,

Just walk into the wall every five steps and close your eyes when trying to shoot an enemy in RE7 and youll have your return to roots...

I loved it as well but the second half was not as great imo. I think the monsters should have been more human looking that would have been more creepy

Would be cool to see the return of zombies.
