i'm not so enjoy replaying RE7 on TV anymore after completed it with PSVR, now i feel that my 42'' TV is so small and it is so troublesome to control view with controller to look around... damn VR experience damaged my gaming life on normal screen...

Agree. Regular gaming lost a lot of its charm to me as well.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Vr is a really impressive experience.i have tried it once at Gamescon with Valkyria, and it was truly amazing. It something that everyone should try once.

Having said that, i dont think the tech is there yet. There are still some games that suffer from the diziness it can cause, its still too expensive, and I imagine PS4 is running at its limits to run the games at VR(which also runs at "worse" graphics).I am of the personal opinion that only when it launches with a console(as comes with the bundle) at a reasonable price it has a chance to take off.And when there are more games like RE 7 for it, of course.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

This happened to me too. Playing The Crew, Tomb Raider, Last Gaurdian, and some other games lately, I just can't help but think how much better it would be if I was transported to that world in VR. I really hope VR starts to become a normal option in most games really quickly. I want to play God of War and The Last Of Us Part II in VR.

VR on PS4 Pro is really spot on from my experience. I havn't messed with it on the OG PS4 since the first month. Standard PS4 does fine, but the image quality on Pro is just enough nicer that it makes me more comfortable.

That said, I think a PSVR2 with a 1440P HDR screen, and a PS4 Pro 2 with around 10 - 12TB, 16GB of RAM, and PSVR ports built in would definitly make things easier, and give the image quality people are used to from 1080p.

I don't think VR is ever going to be cheap. If you are expecting a console and VR for $400 or less I don't think it is going to happen, unless you are buying 5 year old tech. Cutting edge console + VR Headset + Tracking Equipment + Motion Controls is probably always going to hover around $1,000. Go any cheap than that, and you will be compromising somewhere, and you don't want to compromise on VR.

Thanks for sharing, brother.

I am so divided on the VR issue. Without having the opportunity to try it myself I just can't decide if it's amazing or a fad. When you hear stories like the OP or what SvennoJ has explained, you get very excited. But then you ask yourself, if it's so amazing why is VR selling so bad and why aren't there massive amounts of gamers who share the same level of excitement?

I've only had a chance to try VR with Oculus DK2 at my work, which was far away from perfect, and I was sold immediately on the whole concept. But the price (if I'm buyng it would be Vive) is too high to actually dip into it at the moment...I guess that's the main reason why VR headsets are not seeling as good.

Yes. I want a Vive very much, but 900 Euros is a fortune! 900 Euros! I can't spend that money and then it turns out to be a Kinect!

Selling so bad? Uhm the PSVR is out of stock for almost 4 month in a row world wide and new amazon shipments are ususally gone in a few hours. also: http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2017/01/hundreds_line_up_for_playstation_vr_restock_in_japan This was just for restock, not launch.

BTW I have the PSVR scince launch and its just awesome.

I dont play anything on my TV anymore scince then, VR is just soooooo much better. Its incredible. Re7 in VR is awesome.

To all new people that suffer from motion sickness some advices:

- Most people will get used to Motion sickness after some time. Dont play to intense games in the first days. TumbleVR, batmanVR or Holoball (games without moving) are great.

- If you play games like Re7 where you move/stand in the game, try to play standing (at least in the beginning). It helps alot with motion sickness and is alot more immersive.

- Dont use the right stick do look around to much but turn your head/body to look around.

So, my PSVR arrived, got 3 games: Batman VR, RE7 and Rush of Blood.

So far, I love it.

Batman is very good, looks gorgeous, I can´t play for more than 20 minutes cause I am very very sick, got the flu for 3 days now, but it is a very fun game, makes you really lose yourself in the world.

Rush of Blood: Changed my gaming life. Never saw anything like it. The rollercoaster parts gave me a rollercoaster feelling, never ever felt such a thing in a videogame. The fear and the excitement, it is really like being in the coolest ghost train ride ever made.

RE7: Installing. But the demo is unbelievable.

It is a whole new level, this changes everything.

Specially with Supermassive Games and Capcom, these people...They went too far, what a expeirence, it is, like Lewis said, like the jump from 2D to 3d, even more than that.

I am breatless. It is like being a kid again.

Amazing.

I almost feel bad for asking, but how much did that cost in Brazil? Glad you are enjoying it so much. :)
