Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy IV, Mario RPG.

To heck, I'll write out a full list. Based on having 30 titles built in like the NES counterpart, and a couple more Nintendo than third party games.

  1. Super Mario World - The Launch title for the SNES, and the console's signature title.
  2. F-Zero - One of the more notable racers or Mode 7 games on the SNES.
  3. Pilotwings - Part of the laucnh lineup, and thus important.
  4. Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past - Essential Action Adventure game.
  5. Super Mario Kart - Let's invent a subgenre of racers.
  6. Star Fox - Interesting from a historic view while being simple to pick up.
  7. Super Metroid - Codified a genre.
  8. Donkey Kong Country - Was the game in that latter part of the SNES's life that Super Mario World was at launch.
  9. Donkey Kong Country 2 - Like the first, but with Dixie!
  10.  Donkey Kong Country 3 - Like the second, but with the reject Kong!
  11. Earthbound - One of Nintendo's two big SNES RPG's, with a world of charm.
  12. Super Mario RPG - The other of those aforementioned two RPG's.
  13. Kirby Super Star - Kirby's definitive game
  14. Kirby's Dream Land 3 - The other Kirby game on SNES.
  15. Yoshi's Island - A platforming great.
  16. Super Punch Out - Not the most famous entry in its series, but a notable part of Nintendo's SNES lineup.
  17. Tetris Attack - One of the better puzzle games on SNES. Just remember that it's not at all like Tetris.
  18. Yoshi's Cookie - Another good SNES puzzle game.
  19. Final Fantasy VI - One of the best RPGs of the era.
  20. Chrono Trigger - The best RPG of the era.
  21. Final Fight - The face of the beat em up genre.
  22. Mega Man X - A very "Super" version of Mega Man.
  23. Super Street Fighter II - Only one version needed, so pick the best of the bunch.
  24. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 - The best of the other big fighting series not currently exclusive to Microsoft.
  25. Super Bomberman - Multiplayer action for up to four people.
  26. Super Castlevania IV - A solid action that shows some of what the SNES can do.
  27. Contra III - Arguably the best run n gun action game of its time.
  28. UN Squadron - One of two early great sidescrolling shooters, this one from Capcom.
  29. Gradius III - The other early great sidescrolling shooter, this one from Konami.
  30. Bust a Move - A puzzle formula that's aged well.

Note that I wanted to strike a balance between genres, significance and quality. So games like Final Fantasy 4 and R-Type II were not included due to other representatives of those genres showing up already. I also avoided any games based around licenses, for obvious reasons. That meant no NBA Jam, Madden, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Aladdin, and Super Star Wars. And I left off Earthworm Jim because that seems like a Genesis game first and SNES release second.

Zelda, FF and Secret of Mana

I wouldn't get this anyways though :/

I'd put them all in... Every last snes game. I can't see Nintendo competing with the switch by releasing a snes mini any time soon... A snes controller, with games, for the switch is the most we'll can hope for.
