DMC is great. DmC is shit. From the terrible story,characters. Donte is just what a 1999 edgy film thinks is cool. The combat is simplified in a terrible way. You can button mash your way to S rank. Level design is awful. We also go from fun dialogue to again when some 45 year old man thinks is cool and edgy from the late 90s with FUCK consisting of 90% of the dialogue. Poor art design. Also the Fox news bias is thinly veiled. No real consistency with Donte.

Sonic 06 and Rayman 3 for ruining two respectful 3d platformers. The Rayman 2d platformers are still great. LBP 3 ruined little big planet although that franchise was born to dIE out eventually. Motorstorm 3 was also not a very good game. But a franchise is rarely ruined by a single game. Take Resident evil every entry after 5 was meh at best, but RE7 is great.

Super Paper Mario killed the Paper Mario franchise. Even though it was a good game, it got rid of most of what was great with the franchise and set the stage for Sticker Star and Color Splash.
