Actually I did answered your question, stop reading selectively.

No, that's what he plans to do whilst this policy is in effect and then implement afterwards. I asked, what's this actual temporary order supposed to achieve?

There's no reason they couldn't come up with a new vetting process without this policy. So what's the point of this?

Do you work for Homeland Security? How do you know that "There's no reason they couldn't come up with a new vetting process without this policy" ?

Guy, I’ve just give you the answer but no matter what you don’t seem to listen. Good , have it your way. Bye now

How about a "We shouldn't ban people based on their nationality" answer.

I may be weird, but I prefer to live in a non fascist non-extremist country, so fuck trump, and fuck this law.

Question for everyone that supports this.

What is this ban supposed to achieve?

You forget the fact that this is a temporary ban, you act just like the left-wing media. The guy made it clear on his electorate campaign that if he gets elected, he’s going to impose a temporary ban, until the Homeland Security finds the proper ways to vet Muslims, since (in he’s opinion) Homeland Security doesn’t have the proper tools. And that’s what he is doing.

Yeah, the history is filled with "temporary" measures that were totally fucked up and stayed a lot longer than they should have.

Fascism starts with "temporary measures", the funny thing in all that, is  how many americans were killed on american soil by islamic terrorist since 9/11? Not many right? School shooters have been a much bigger cause of death and still, nobody is trying to ban guns, and nobody is trying to come down on white weird loner kids, even "temporarily".

Meanwhile the deathcounts in middle-east by the US army, is going through the roof, and not just of terrorists, but civilians too.

This whole thing is just getting more and more ridiculous...

No, you got it wrong, deathcounts in middle-east are created at the hands of Saudi Arabia and Israel, get your fact right.

Yeah, the american army is shooting blanks there, thank you for clearing up that for me.

USA is the sword doing the work for Israel’s and Saudi’s interests, you are a naïve kid.

No, you just gave me a soundbite. "Until Homeland Security comes up with a vetting procedure" is not a reason, it's a vague timeframe and as I said before, there's no reason he had to put this blanket ban in place whilst they came up with one. The same vetting procedure has been in place for the past 8 years, why put in a blanket ban now?

I'm talking about this particular executive order. What is the actual objective here? What is he actually hoping to achieve?

Edit @bolded: Seriously? You accuse other of being naive then you have to ask that? What possible reason is there that a new vetting procedure couldn't be devised with previous immigration laws? On the contrary, you'd have a steady pool of people to pilot test the vetting process on.

Oh, so yeah right, since they are working for someone else, lik you say they are, that absolves the US army from all their doings there. That's how it works.

You are one screwed up person you know? I get that you are biased and racist, but you are not even smart about it. You just don't make any sense.

So, I’m bias and racist because I have explained to you some facts about why the US is involved in the Middle-east. I see. Not one time did I’ve excused the US for doing the dirty work for Israel and the Saudi’s , or I’ve said that the US is right to wage those wars, all I’ve said is that you’re naïve if you think that those wars are only happening to server USA’s interests, or that only USA is to blame for those wars. But yeaha, I’m the racist because you’re too blind to realize what is actually going on with this world.

Anyone could ask you the same...

Do you work for Homeland Security?
How do you know that they need this policy to come up with a new vetting process?

Since civil rights are being infringed, one would expect that the reasonable thing to do is to explain why that is needed before hand.
