what is worse is boss battle that is taking any damage...

i dunno how i finish xeno x final boss (main story)

it doesnt fucking take damage!!!

No. I assume I also have potions and thus why shouldn't they.

I hate player auto regen health. I like games that make you use potions, spells or whatever to get back to full.

I hate bosses that you can't kill because the game doesn't want them to die yet. You can shoot them 50 times but just because it's not at the right stage in the game, they're unaffected by it.

This happened to me in Skyrim.  I get to the end of story-line dungeon with an NPC escort.  Evil Skeleton Thing comes out, I start unloading on it.  Turns out I was just wasting my best arrows, though, because it was "invulnerable" until the NPC did something first.  Bah.

Yeeeeeah plenty of games do that, I get the same way with scenarios like that. I find game design like that to be a little lazy sometimes, depends on the game though.

The annoying part about self-regenerating bosses is that it's usually either hard or impossible to predict or prevent, so it feels completely unfair. They're not necessarily always evil, but usually they are.
