For those saying Egypt, wasn't the original AC in Egypt? Unless you mean like ancient Egypt... that could be cool.

Did you not play the first game, or do you just need geography lessons?

Wasn't it 3 cities in the first one? Some place in Syria, Jerusalem and Cairo or something?

Damascus, Jerusalem, and Acre. So modern day Syria and Israel

Well, it's a safe bet that a new AC will be revealed this E3, possibly slated for fall 2017.
Hopefully we don't go more further in time and instead go back. Egypt sounds good.

What I want is a Black Flag 2
, though that will unfortunately never happen.

You mean AC Rogue ? :P

Two things:

1: Rogue was a half-assed game which brought absolutely nothing new to the table, and was just a cheap final cash-in for old-gen systens.

2:Rogue was more reminiscent of AC3, not AC4,

with the same setting and all.

There is no way Rogue counts as a sequel to Black flag IMO

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Ubisoft doesn't have so many AAA games, at least currently, and with Ghost Recon Wildlands launching this March, they need a big game later his year.

I think that game will be a new Assassin's Creed.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Not new, but they further improved naval combat. However playing as a Templar and killing Assassins was definitely a new thing (and no Haytham doesn't count as we only learn much later that he's a Templar and we're not actively fightig against Assassins either).

I stopped caring about AC after first one, I had to force myself to finish ACII. I played Black Flag recently and all I can say is...oh dear.

I really, really hope they will do something new with the IP if they're getting influenced by Witcher, I really liked potential of the first one, but when it comes to Ubi, I'm keeping my expectations in check.

I got bored off ass greed years ago. But if they made it more rpg like then id probably take a look :P

They are releasing that "For Honour"  game in March aswell.  I think thats AAA.

Yeah, I expect we'll see an Assassin's Creed this year.

True.

But they still need a proper AAA game for the October-November period and then X-mas.
