Taken from official Twitter account, Playtonic suggests that Wii U backers will soon be able to ''switch'' version to Nintendo Switch by the end of Jan.

Soooo @PlaytonicGames, any word on being able to move my Wii U backer copy to Nintendo Switch? And maybe physical? Please?

No exact date, they mentioned it would be by the end of the month without being specific for now.

Cant believe the most Nintendo 3rd party game ever isnt releasing on a Nintendo platform day 1 -_-

Wii-U was the main platform, they should release it there as well. Especially as the majority of backers are former Nintendo fans that wanted the game on Wii-U. Cancelling the Wii-U version is betrayal of their backers.

Yep and no refund, its à shame 

The Wii U couldn't run the game, too many technical issues what else could they have done?
