Forums - Nintendo - Princess Peach game for SWITCH???

They shoud make her a compelling character and not just a damsel in distress.

That's pretty much all there is to princess peach a spoiled royal figure which can't do much without the help of others. Why would she it's not like she could ever physically outmatch bowser who doesn't want to kill her anyway. She isn't a brave adventurer when it comes to it and that's fine, not every princess is as badass as Zelda. If one princess does deserve to be a badass it is Rosalina. Peach is just way too girly even in her own DS adventure she is a bipolar whiny damsel.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Without twisting what the charater is though.

Shes not a fighter, which is why she actually is the "damsel in distress" in most of her games,

it doesnt mean you cant have games that ll be long with her nature, without her being the "damsel in distress".

But her suddenly becomeing a blood thirsty sword weilding monster that kills millions of goombas... it would be so bad.

Its not true to the nature of the character.

Just include her in a Mario RPG and make her a healer.

Shes not the "lady in distress" in this game, but a valued party member, that heals instead of kicking ass.

Of course they can't rewrite her completely. But make her seem more intelligent/independent. Maybe they can use her kindness in an interesting way.

How about, maybe, just maybe, for once she doesn't get captured by Bowser and Mario can have an actual motivation for his game? Maybe she can be an unlockable playable character then? Hey, one can dream....

You're gonna eat the dust.

^THAT is the Princess Peach game we should have!!

Agree

As a plat former, yeah, peach alone all the way... as a warriors title... I think she should join with Todette, Pauline and daisy similar to Disney Princess

Something I just came across I'd like to share.  Enjoy.

It wouldnt be a system seller for the Switch

I really enjoyed the one on DS, so I definitely wouldn't mind one on Switch. Just depends on if it's worth it for Nintendo

I'd love a proper Peach game that makes her more like the Peach from the comics and less like the pms'ing mess she was in that DS title.

When I think of the top tier of Mario characters (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Toad), she really seems the least developed in regards to personality of the group spare Mario himself, but I've largely given that a pass as Mario is meant to be a stand-in avatar of sorts for the player him/herself (much like Link).

Luigi: Reluctant, frightened, overshadowed hero
Toad: Always in a panic, typical doting servant
Bowser: Quite funny in his mischievous antics, his motives are generally very petty
Peach: Always has the look of a stereotypical air-headed blonde, acting completely helpless, and exists only to be a damsel.

Now, when you consider Luigi, Toad, and Wario have all received quality, unique games, I'd love to see one for Peach. They really need to allow her a personality more akin to that in the comics and the competitive games (like Tennis/smash etc), though, and it'd be neat if it was of a unique style. Perhaps some sort of castle defender/pikmin hybrid where she directs toadlings and such?

It'd be fun to see something new at least. Something about seeing her get grabbed by Bowser in the recent video and shout the recycled (they didn't even record a new take) "MARIO!" made me realize that I've just gotten completely sick of her as she currently exists.

Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a Zelda title with Zelda as the hero either, though I'd prefer it not replace the next Link-based Zelda game.

lol short-as-heck shorts aren't enough, they gotta unzip them as well.

Does anyone actually find this to be attractive? It looks rather disturbing haha
