I do that all the time.

I've had a handful of people I wouldn't say have criticized but have found it surprising that my games are alphabetized. Why??? I honestly cannot phantom what's the issue. It's not like it's a single 1 foot wide shelf that doesn't need a lot or organizing to find something. On a related note, a friend of mine couldn't understand how someone could keep their comics is new condition. Well Dan (<--- my friend) if you weren't such a slob, maybe your comics wouldn't be in a single pile sitting bare from the carpet up with the corners hanging over each other, and your comics MIGHT be in the same condition, too. Anyway, do you alphabetize your games? If not, why wouldn't you? |
No, it's not strange. Strange is people doing it wrong all the time.

No, the game starts with a T. Its called The Legend Of Zelda.

Well, it's a sequel to XIII-2, isn't it? |
Agreed with GoW4. I mean it's still Kratos so "GoW4" can still work.
What else would one do? By system and by name.
Not strange at all. though i have at times organized them least to favorite.

Of course not, that's called being neat and organised. And alphabetising is probably the best way to do that. My stuff mostly in boxes now but when it wasn't, I ordered them, after ordering them by system, by how much I liked them; best one was on the left.

Then you want to play a game, you'll have to look for it, and waste time doing it. |
Yeah, I know that order makes it easy for a game to be found quickly, but I have a ver good photographic memory for useless things, like where exactly are the games that I own, so, not having them in order is not an issue for me since i know always where they are. But yeah, ordered is easier for finding a game.

The only time I don't keep them alphabetized is when something goofy happens like a sequel with a different name (ie: X Blades/Blades of Time or Tomb Raider/Rise of the Tomb Raider)
Aside from that, ABCs by console.

Dude, you need to play more and organize less... I have many PS2, PS3 and PS4 games, but even tho they are organized by system, they are not in alphabetical order. Just shoved all squeezed on the shelf. Whenever I have time, I use it to play those games, not to have them ordered Xp I guess thats some kind of obsesive disorder. |
Really, it should be phrased "obsessive order."
