Digital-only makes me sad. Le sigh. At least it's another launch title!

I could give hot takes, but I'm trying to be nice. There's a lot of mixed reaction about the game, and this type of game is certainly going to draw that kind of response. I think fans of turn based RPGs should give it a shot, because it's a fun game to play. I'm not a big IGN person, but I found their review to be a pretty solid representation of the game.

I'm not the type to really criticize the length of the game, which some might have found too short, but it felt about right to me. I don't need games artifically inflating the length of their game with fluff. It's a pretty driven game, and you don't waste much time on non-plot points.

As you said in your post with okr, I think a sale might be worth waiting for. I didn't mind paying $40 for it, but to re-release it at the same price a year later isn't a great move.

Well Switch is region-free now so just import the Japanese one

I saw some folks asking if the Japanese version would have english text. There's no real voice acting in this game, so you don't have to worry about that.

That would be pretty nice if it gets that, hopefully it would get patched to the PS4 version too so I can import my copy.

This game is very short and easy. I beat it in 16 hours without having to grind. Every random battles just use aoe to take out everything in 1 turn. Story was bad too. Lucky i bought it when it was on sales for $15.
