I know this is not a concern for 98% of people, but how reliable is the wireless connection even going to be with the Switch Pro Controller? I speak from experience that playing Smash tournaments with the Wii U Pro Controller I sometimes get lag and weird inputs, and that's in medium-sized tournaments with few wireless controllers around. That could be a huge issue on a big tournaments if everyone is playing with the same wireless controller.

I sometimes get lag on my spare pro controller if I don't use it for a week or so. Typically just resyncing it does the job.

 

I'm pretty sure the gamecube adapter only uses 2 USB ports. They'll definitely find a solution to it.

I think its negative and kind of lame thinking if your frustrating is "omg where is the Wii U port of Smash on the Switch!?". what we should be hoping is that there is an entirely NEW Smash Bros. being created for the Switch with better features than ever before and a more balanced and solid set of fighting mechanics than the recent games. 

that or an HD Melee would be awesome.

At any rate I'm not sure why anyone would assume they automatically deserve a Smash announcement immediately. Metroid, F-Zero, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, etc. fans could all say the exact same thing

Obviously a Melee fan upset I'm asking why there is no Smash 4 Switch news. I guess I should be asking why is there no Melee for Switch news. Oh well, can't keep everyone happy.

People though we were getting Splatoon 1.5! But a sequel got confirmed soooooo.......... If its coming in 2017 it will be @ e3!

Probably. Nintendo can't go to E3 2017 empty handed. At least they won't have to be so paranoid about the Switch, now that everyone knows what it is. If Nintendo says nothing about Smash for Switch at E3 I would totally freak-out.

Perhaps they didn't want to release info on too many wii u ports at once to avoid looking like there was nothing on the switch but wii u ports.
