You are Mr Kimishima, current president of Nintendo, one day out of nowere you get an e-mail from 3 Major Third Parties who offer you to buy one of their established IPs but you can only accept one of the three otherwise you will spend too much and investors will get mad at you, these are the IPs that you are offered:

Option 1: Monster Hunter, must sign a contract so that the games are developed forever only by Arzest, Nintendo can't supervise development;

Option 2: Metal Gear Solid, no development team, Kojima can't collaborate with you for the next 5 years due to Death Stranding, the e-mail states "This doesn't work for Pachinko anymore, just so you know...";

Option 3: Final Fantasy, no development team, you are forced to include the number XIII in the title of all of the future entries otherwise the IP will go back to SE;

What do you pick and why ?

Monster Hunter. Metal Gear won't have the same punch without Kojima (and I'm sure he wants to move on) and Final Fantasy games nowadays take too much time to finish and are too expensive to make. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter can be made with a certain frequency, and I'm sure Nintendo would love to secure that IP for its japanese market.

Option 1! Would love to see Monster Hunter continue on to the Switch! (Sorry PS4/PSV owners) Japan would eat that shit!

Monster Hunter definitely, that will bring over a lot of the 3DS install base.

1, for sure. Metal Gear without Kojima is not worth anything, and FF games nowadays are mediocre at best.

I decline all three and go 3rd party myself.

Option 1 and 2 could be sorta realistic

Option 3 is just nonsense with the FFXIII thing

So since this really isn't much of an option, #1 but only cause the other two are kinda stupid

Wow, I thought I made Option 1 pretty reasonable compared to the other 2, MH is pretty much an exclusive as of now and no supervision for Nintendo could translate in terrible budget management

No wonder why such prices then. I'm pure rotten greed ^.^

Take option 2. Port all Metal Gear Solid games to the Nintendo Switch. Wait 5 years for Kojima to finish up with Death Stranding. Then offer Kojima Productions to work on MGS6.
