For launch it seems fine, especially doing it in March. The marketing push really is needed come Autumn/Winter to break into broader culture for the holidays.

If you're asking if they could have benefited with some extra time, hell yeah. There are still tons of questions I don't have answers to.

It's more about people knowing it exists and that it's not a Wii U accessory.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

The people who would think that dont know the WiiU exists, so thats not a problem.

And think of all the games we could have a little more info on supposedly releasing this year.
Signs are already appearing in stores like Gamestop and I think Wal-Mart. Once we get closer I expect to see television commercials.
The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Holy shit! Signs in stores! #gamechanger
Nintendo Europe is not known for their TV advertising campaigns. I think becausethey think it takes too much time to make and or translate these in the local language.
The only thing I see is a commercial or 2 during the holidays and usually they only promote the games. Not the system. Haven't seen anything yet and don't expect much to be honest.
For me, it's not so much about the time for advertising as it is about what it is exactly they're going to advertise.
Here's a thought, do you guys think the Nintendo will drop the ball on advertising since they are already sold out of preorders everywhere? I certainly think that they might not be as aggressive as they should...
