If the mobile games are free or can be bought at pocket change, I don't think you really can reasonably expect 40-60€ games to compete the mobile games with price. All you have to do is make games people see worth buying (first and foremost, this is fighting disinterest).

True. But raising them won't help either.

We all saw how people reacted to the 10$ for Super Mario Run.
Mobile gamers want to pay as little as possible.
