I can see why people would want this, (and I hope that people actually demand it directly from Nintedo rather than cross their fingers), but would it be a deal breaker? XCX aside, Xemoblade I felt had stellar voice acting.

In my experience, it's a combination of being an anime fan and being pretentious.

Preference has nothing to do with being pretnetious, and this isn't based on your experience either; Some people highly value VA in games and this is one of the few franchises I can clearly see why. I just really wanted to get an opinion of someone who is a huge fan of the Xenoblade (and maybe the entire Xeno) series

It's not really so much that Europe's version in the original was superior, it was more because of the nature of the story XCX that the VA wasn't utilized well.

As a matter of fact, some of the best VA's were under used. This includes Fiora and Shulk's VA's

Elma was the one of the few, for example I felt was done well; Up to par, in fact, with the original

Yeah, I chose Fiora's voice for my character. The VA in XCX wasn't terrible, but I felt it was a bit mediocre, all in all.

It's funny, as I was typing my response I got your point. haha

The worst part of Xeno X was the terrible sound of the footsteps. I almost had to stop playing because they were so annoying.

The worst was when it rained...

There was also the tiny font in menus...  Some totally ridiculous little things that make me think they cut some corners with the quality control.

I imagine they probably cut the budget a lot as it became clear that the Wii U was not selling.  So, there may not have been sufficient resources available for these finishing touches.
