Good game. Better if you'd played the earlier ones. Lots of nice little easter eggs sprinkled about.

It's not as good as 2 IMO, but it's still incredible and you probably need to up the difficulty and use stealth a bit more, the game plays better like that IMO.

Likewise TLOU plays far far better on Grounded difficulty than the others (infact it's so much better I can't even finish the first level on a lower difficulty)

I think TLOU's AI is one of the worst things in existence personally, and it could've been infinitely better judging from Ellie's boss fight with the cannibal guy (David) having no problems in comparison to the main infected enemies throughout the game. I really only enjoyed TLOU's story having beaten the game 3 times (2x on hard and once on grounded) and didn't care for the level design or gameplay. So we're on opposite sides of the sepctrum.   That being said I liked Uncharted 4 and I don't generally like 3rd person shooters. I fell asleep playing the Tomb Raider reboot. I like all the Uncharted games moderately and I only did not enjoy Uncharted 3. I understand why the linearity bothers you. It bothers me as well. I can't take points off of a linear game for being linear though personally. You might've enjoyed it more had you started with UC1 or 2.

I am glad that you are enjoying UC4! It is very good imo not as good as 2 but better than 3 and 1 is just a classic for me lol. IT gets better in the later chapters of the game though and that is also where you will REALLY appreciate how beautiful that game is! It is totally different from TLOU game play wise though so I can understand what you mean there. But yeah stick with it and get ready to be blown away by the 2nd half of the game!
