Forums - Nintendo - New Switch Rumor (Hardrives)

http://wccftech.com/nintendo-switch-supports-2tb-micro-sd-console-ready-external-usb-drives/

Looks like we may be able to use external hardrives after all (if true) sometime after launch. If so, that'll be a big plus in my book, as I'm not into buying micro SD cards (though I'll prob get a small one).

More options is a good thing, but I think a lot of people would prefer an SKU with 500GB+ internal memory.

Be sure to buy a coat with big pockets when you decide to take the Switch and its external hard drive on the go.

500 gb of flash memory??? that would be too expensive dear.

Haha, it's def a stay at home option. Would be hilarious to see that though.

How would that work?

Like when you play the game in portable mode, the data won't be there? Because it is connected to the dock?

Or this is for people who won't really use this to play in portable mode. Or leave the big games at home?

I'm just saying what people would rather have, not what's practical for the business. lol

You could just move games from the hard drive to the Switch internal memory I guess.

It supports micro SD cards up to 2TB so I don't think the's any point to HDD support tbh.

Either that, or to the SD card.
