That doesn't look too big. I don't think size would really be too much of a hindrance to it's portability.

The looks like a standard pair of Levis Jeans, so those are normal sized pockets. This thing is a lot bigger than a 3DS XL, there's just no way around that.

Even if you remove the Joycons this thing is not going to be pocketable unless you want to look ridiculous or are planning to giant baggy jeans with huge cargo storage.

It looks slightly wider than the Wii U tablet with Joycons attached, though thankfully much thinner.

Going by that image and comparing my iPad mini to the GP, Switch is roughly the same size as the mini without the JCs attached.
