that's what bothers me- the reality is the vast majority of people using the Switch just want to play Zelda on the go or at home with a regular controller. Same with Mario, Pokemon, etc.
yet they force this dumb gimmicky Joycon controller. I mean thank god its optional and not like the Wii mote in terms of being forced for a lot of games, but still, if potentially they could have just left the Joycon part very simple without all the dumb tiny gizmos built inside, and kept the price point at like 250$ that would have been so much smarter.
Don't know who Nintendo thinks their market is. Sure some people like me who are die hard for Zelda might preorder or buy the system, but this is not the right strategy to attract the casuals and dominate. Regardless of if the system does well or not they've made some rash errors. Still time to adjust IMO though
