Forums - Nintendo - Switch will be 329-349€ in Europe? huge fail by Nintendo

http://www.saturn.de/de/product/_nintendo-switch-2191472.html?ga_query=nintendo%20switch

Havent watched the whole press conferece but Nintendo didnt want to show the Euro price and just suggested to go to your retailer. Amazon removed their 330€ price so its clear it will be 350€. What a rippoff doesnt matter if its 330€ or 350€, a PS4 Pro launched for 400€ without any problems because its still 1$ to 1€. And then Nintendo charges for online too.

According to Amazon official prices

PS4 Slim 260€
Switch 330€
PS4 Pro 400€

How is the switch competitive at all? And people wonder why Sony dominates europe?

You should've also looked at the other threads about this. The Switch was sold at 329,99€ on amazon and got sold out pretty fast. 20 minutes for the colored version and 1 hour for the grey version.

Fuck, Nintendo. I can't afford that price...

we dont really know unless Nintendo confirms it, that was really strange to not give at least a Euro price

Depends on taxes and retailer.

The US price is always shown without taxes. That's not possible for Europe. Germany for example shows always the prices incl. taxes.

So.. 300$ without taxed and 329,99€ with taxes.

I hoped to be cheaper in the EU.

Switch!!!

It's 329 Euros not 350.

If we don't really know, why are you making a thread claiming it will be that exact price?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

So people who don't care about the console's mobility and want the Switch with a normal controller (Switch Pro controller) will have to pay around €400.

Tough sell, when you get a more powerful PS4 Slim or Xbox One S with much bigger game libraries for a lot less.

From a handheld perspective (people who don't care about the TV option) it is the most expensive handheld console ever (€330 - €350).

The Switch will mostly appeal to people who want to play (the same games) on TV and on the go with all the compromises compared to the "specialists" (size, weight + battery life compared to other handhelds; graphic power + storage space compared to other home consoles).
