Forums - Nintendo - So Uh Third Parties For Switch?

What are your thoughts based on what we know now?

Japanese support looks decent, but even there looks a little on the dry side for the first few months. Some decent stuff announced though today from them (Tales, Disgea, SMT, DQ Heroes, Street Fighter 2), some things missing though (where's Tekken 7?).

Western stuff though ... Skyrim port + FIFA + Minecraft and none available at launch seemingly and not a whole lot else, definitely worse than the Wii U had initially. Doesn't look like a whole lot until holiday 2017.

Idk yet. I am gonna wait until post treehouse to make my final judgement. The press conference was in Japan so I am unsure if the lack of western third parties is cause they are loling or for some other reason.

So far, it's not that unexpected overall since western + nintendo hasn't been very strong but I was expecting ubisoft to be there. But who knows, there might be some more announcements over the course of the new few days.

I was expecting RE7 and MH... =/

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I think we'll see more at E3. I'm holding out my negativity for E3. If E3 rolls up and nothing is coming on Switch besides what they've shown...I'd be panicking.

Skyrim is definitely not the SE version either, that looked like the 360/PS3 version and it's not coming out until fall 2017 either. Yikes.

pretty worrying tbh. I'm not sure if Nintendo just is not mentioning the stuff yet, but it seemed like something like a new Monster Hunter near release wouldn't be that hard to pull off. Its weird

Didn't I read that Steep is a launch title? But early 3rd party support for Nintendo consoles tells us nothing.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Its not great, but is aight. Really need to see them 3DS devs make the Switch before 2017 is over because its success relies on them.

wow is the Switch Skyrim really coming that late? goodness spring 2017 is looking like a pretty weak launch period for the system. I mean Zelda is awesome but we expected that. A rerelease of Mario Kart and a very basic Bomberman game is pretty bare bones. Hopefully there is stuff that hasn't been discussed yet

I like how Nintendo made fun of people hoping for Red Dead 2 lol
