I usually think the summer months (july) are kinda boring for game releases, but for news maybe April

I think July is pretty bad, June will see some massive games, Soul Caliber 4 and MGS4...

normally summer break is really bad for gaming.

I think july would be one of the best months for the PS3, HOME is scheduled for july, and although its not much of a system mover, the MGS4 bundle should be selling like hot cakes. The ps3 should manage a couple of 200k+ WW weeks in july.

As for the 360, I expect it to drop below 100k WW, and wii is unkown like Ive stated many times before, but I did predict sometime mid 08 it should drop to current 360 level sales.

 I have said it from the start, the battle of HD console is at EU. Sony only needs to match Microsoft in NA and that would be considered a success this gen. If Sony can overtake EU and outsells 360 by 2:1 by the end of this year. Sony's victory in HD is a lock
