Can you give me a source about the free game only playable for the month? I don't remember seeing this during the presentation.

The way its worded on their own site, but also from what people are saying.

Is paid online mandatory? Or is it just a better version of the standard service?

Mandatory. You can enter to the eShop and web browser, but to play online you must pay.

Well, if you believe in miracles, Nintendo's website says "After the free-trial period, most games will require a paid online service subscription from Nintendo in order to play online."

The "most" is what gives me hope. But I expect it to be mandatory.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I think "most" means any 1st party game developed by Nintendo that runs on nintendo servers.

3rd party might host their own games, and have servers for those.

Now you just gotta wait for Call of Duty ect... so you can play online without paying the nintendo online subscription.

Nintendo handhelds sell like hot pancakes, this one is not going to be different. They can sustain momentum with price drops after recovering some investment over earlier adopters. Price is not a real problem, paid online is not going to be neither. Games drought might be a concern, I guess they launch some miimoto kind of game to get the Japanese customers excited and that is going to be a go kick start.

Nintendo needs to clean house. The old people behind Nintendo don't know anything

1-2 Switch is making me really worried. Why'd they make something like this...it's $50 too. What's Nintendo smoking over there!

It doesn't matter, if it was a PS4 pro with a Nintendo shell people would still bitch about them.

We both know that isnt true.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Nintendo should be paying people to buy it, lol.
