If people want to compare

- 2013: http://www.gdconf.com/news/gdc_state_of_the_industry_rese/
-2014: http://www.gdconf.com/news/gdc_state_of_the_industry_ps4_/

2013 had Wii U at 4.6 making a game and 6.4 on "will make" a game, while ps4 and xbone were in 11% both
2014 had ps4 at 20% and xbone at 17% with Wii U stuck at 4%

This year there were more devs though

so xbox and ps4 had 3x the developer interest at ~11 months before launch compared to switch at ~2 months before launch.

I'll take this with a pinch of salt

I'll wait til tomorrow when its free for all to announce games.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Yeah and even though they are not making games for it, most think that the system will do well. So the survey isn't telling us much.

Not good.

Well, at least PC is safe. Looks like the market is going cautious on the Switch. Uh oh.

Only 1% more than the ps3? Buy where does the 3% come from cause these percentages do add up. Is it not out of 100%?

Let's say there is a room of 100 people and I am surverying them on beverages they drink. 100% of the people in the room drink something, whether it's water, juice, pop, alcohal.

I ask them how many of them drink Orange Juice on a daily basis.

54% of them say they do.

I ask them how many drink Milk on a daily basis.

25% say they do.

There are some people that drink both orange juice and milk.

I ask how many drink water on a daily basis.

82% of them say yes.

These numbers do not add up to 100% That is because they can be shared answers. A developer can develop for both the PS4 and PC.

For me these numbers mean little to nothing. System A could have a hundred developers and no games that interest me, while System B has ten that all interest me. Seeing 38% on mobile doesn't make me want to play games on my phone. If the Switch is a Wii U + 3DS I'll be very content as really one developer matters to me there, Nintendo. Looking forward to tomorrow to hear what all was announced over night at the presentation.

I told you people... stop expecting a lot of third party games on Switch. It will probably have an awesome indie support + some big third party games + probably a few third party (timed) exclusives. But I'm sure it won't have all of the big games... even if it takes off. Stop being delusional already or prepare for disappointment!

- A friendly warning.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
