I bought a 3ds for the same price, I bought a wii u for $350

250$/€ is too much for a handheld that can be plug in a TV unless it's bundled with a game.

yeah I would understand if they want it to be cheaper because hey! who wouldn't? "too high" it is not what this is.

a cheaper option would be a Nvidia shield for $200, and that thing is not a handheld *too* how  $250 is too high when the new 3ds xl is $200 and the switch is a lot more stronger than the 3ds and the wii u? for $50 more?

I would like that free game tho...

$250 for the Switch is fine IMO, $200 for the New 3ds XL is ridiculous though. xD

People were looking at me like I was insane for suggesting a $199 price tag but it needs to happen. Nintendo can't have a machine that is a small fraction the power of PS4 and Xbox One and try to sell it for the same price as them.

This would price is higher the PS4 and XboxOne's go for generally, its a bold move, I think going a little lower would be wise but maybe the games are priced lower, that would make up for it.

You can buy a PS4 for less than £200 here, my gut feeling suggest there will be loads left on the shelve. 

well yeah if you buy the parts I'm pretty sure that you can get a new 3ds xl for less money, same thing with at lot of tech at the end of the cycle. Although cheaper is always better, $250 is great imho.

Too expensive , 250 euros with Zelda/Mario is thé good launch Price , ill buy it at this price, im sure some shop will have such bundle
