Backseat Moderating in the forums will also be treated as spamming, as it will derail the topic and conversation of the thread. You are not a moderator, so if you do feel like a user is breaking the rules, report them and move on. Let the mod team handle moderation. Examples of backseat moderating include statements like "Reported." "You should be banned for that." "I give you a week tops." "I've been banned for less." and the like.

Why you were moderated has been explained to you multiple times, by different moderators and members of the forum. Accept it and move along. Improve yourself.

I wasn’t “Backseat Moderating”, all I did is pointing out to StarOcean that he is breaking the forum rules. Also, the fact that none of you are addressing the obvious elephant in the room, the fact that I was banned for a lesser offence, and StarOcean even tho with his own words “I'm not implying it, I'm straight up saying it.”, it only shows you are banning people based on bias.

Improve myself? What about you improve, and be fair to all users on this place.

Gotta say, being a moderation has got to be hard when you need to deal with all this drama every now and then.

Yeah, though I wonder how the balance is. If there's nothing to do they'll get bored, if there's too much to do they'll get overwhelmed and frustrated.

Telling someone you're reporting them and telling them what they can and cannot post is backseat moderation.

Stop trying to tell us how to do our jobs when you quite clearly don't have any real grasp on anything said in the rule set. Your situation has been explained multiple times in this thread. CGI-Quality just gave you examples of the same user being moderated for the exact offence you're complaining about.

Yeah, I guess that true.I hate to admit it, but I do love some drama now and then that simply keeps things interesting.But I only like it until the point that it either gets overwhelming or that the parties involved take the topic too personally and the discussion gets violent.

I guess thats why mods tend to last about one or two years and they always change.Gotta take a break somewhere along the road.

All I’ve asked is to be explained why user StarOcean hasn’t been moderated, for an offence that I was previously banned. You ask why I’ve pointed out to him that he’s breaking the rules? Because I wanted to have proof that I’ve made the report to the mods. And no, there is no drama involved; all I’ve asked is for fairness.
