I could say that a C-Class, while still better than anything Mitsubishi currently offers, is still a very disappointing sedan. Its a FWD so it's not as agile through corners. The seats especially in the back are not as comfortable and the overall ride is simply very rough and unrefined for a Merc. And there's nothing wrong with that. Now, you may say that the Mitsubishi comparison was unnecessary, but I disagree. It gives a ballpark of quality. It tells everyone that you are not saying that the C-Class is a horrible car compared to any other car, just that it not meets expectations. It also doesn't say that that Mitsubishis are bad cars either, they could still be considered good cars, even great. Is just that the A-Class, while disappointing, is still better. The Mitsubishi comparison creates context and complements the criticism leveled against the Merc.

I'm not gonna claim innocence on my last moderation, mind you. As I definitely wrote "that bit" on purpose to greet Zelda haters that though my BOTW DLC thread was a Zelda bashing thread and came with the intention of just throwing sh*t at it. Still I want to point out that I didn't really insulted their preferred gaming platform, but I simply mentioned that something elsewhere was better. Thus, that last moderation was not about punishing something offensive, but about protecting the frail and insecure small gaming dicks of people that can't handle when someone thinks that something outside their preferred platform is better.

You also remember it without the change.  I guess a mod thought it would be funny to make me look bad.  Hopefully someone has the ability to find out who.  Or maybe the mod would just admit it. 

I don't think this is going to go anywhere, I have faith in the mods that they didn't edit the post.

So you think I edited it later and added in I guess?

Kero doesn't seem like the type of person to edit the post to sound salty about it. He didn't even want to lead the nation thread and he's doesn't participate in it either so I doubt Kero edited it himself.

You know what, I'm not a mod myself, so I can't represent the mod team, and to be honest, I don't want to inadvertently drag the mod team into an awkward situation (as I had unfortunately done before in the past). I'll just say that while Kerotan did vote for me, he DID NOT want me to take over the thread.

And that was why I specifically didn't want to come across as salty when congratulating you.

I don't like accusing mods without stone cold proof so while I agree with many of the posters above I'll hold opinions on the mods until I find out. But seriously though, it's much better a mod admits it now then gets caught out and it backfires later

Ask the admins.  I don't have a way to check so there's nothing I can do.

Have you asked all the mods if they did it?

I've not been in trouble in a long time but do the mods think I'm too passive aggressive lately?

Came back to a few threads recently and was like I should probably be a bit chill with some of my previous posts.

What do you think?

I'll be the devil's advocate here.

I'm not that familar with inathan's posting habits but I'll trust the mods on that. You shouldn't be taking shots like that at banned people regardless of who it is though.

Unless 97alexk was posting alot of nazi loving stuff in a lot of threads, a ban (much less a permaban) wasn't justified based just on the comments in that thread.
