I'm sure you will say 1 is 2 weeks of data vs 6 months but it's also a very lazy thread.  You can't judge domination by just the top 10. He didn't even bother listing total software sales for each console this year which paints a clearer picture which console is doing well in terms of SW. 

 

I don't see why lazy analysis is allowed it's own thread and not told to be discussed in this week's mediacreate. 

Because the Nintendo thread could be seen as a legit sales analysis using data from Media Create, while yours was an obvious reaction to the thread itself and your incessant need to cheerlead for Sony above all else, as evidenced by your own post in the thread:

I had no intentions of making a thread until a moderator said find somewhere else to discuss it and another user told me to make my own thread. 

 

As I just said his title is not worthy of his analysis.  He's cherry picked the top 10 selling titles rather then mention total software which is what counts when you want to talk about domination. 

 

By your logic is he doing this just so he can cheer lead Nintendo?  personally I don't think so but then neither was I.

Your chances to be successful in this endeavor will be a lot higher if you can provide an example where it's off the mark.

My point was already agreed with by the mods.  Gave the guy a warning.

Although there's still another post in the thread let go that personally insulted me.  Saying my thread was trolling because it was me who posted it.  I'm not a troll and don't appreciate people calling me one.  The type of talk in that post should only be allowed by mods.  The way you were talking it was as if you were a mod.  Which makes sense seeing as you're pushing your script.  Which incase people don't know is to get me banned.

I can accept that but what I don't get is why the OP isnt told to improve and include more relevant data that more accurately paints the picture of the last 6 months.

I've given enough insight on the matter. The decision was made and that's the end of my explanation of it.

Although you are more in the middle of something else right now, I still want personally apologize and accept that I went to far with my post, it wasn't my intent to personally attack you but call out your thread as being maybe a little bit uncalled for and unnessary, and was the outcome from a reaction of another thread. But clearly there were better and more resonible ways to do so. It was the first time I had to be moderated in anyway with a good track recorded of almost six months of being on this site, it was my first mistake so I hope you can see that a warning was more justified rather than a ban, I can ensure you it'll will sure be just as effective to ensure I don't make anymore mistakes like that.

I didn't even report your post so nothing personal.  I knew you meant it in a light hearted way.  Took an issue with RolStoppable though because the way he was going on you'd think he was a mod. Back seat modding from him has become a big issue but hopefully now I've highlighted it he reels it back. 

 

@Rol 

He's claiming software domination.  If he wants to do that he should list total software sales not a meaningless top 10. For the record listing totals would give you 3DS>PS4>>>>Switch.

 

@hynad Yeah it temporarily changed from Rol the thread to Kerotan the thread.  I'm off to play crash remaster now so it can return to its former self.

No problem, thanks for understanding just wanted to make sure there were no hard feelings. I still broke the rules so I understand why I should and have been warned, it'll help so I make sure not to do so in the future at risk of more bigger consequences.

I dont get what is the deal here. If you don't like Nintendo dominating you can:
- Avoid the thread / dont comment on it
- Tell Sony to make games that will boom in Japan
- Tell Sony fans in Japan to buy more PS4

In seriousness xD Im pretty sure the OP is just making a thread whats his source says him.

If a source said top 20 or top 50, then the thread will show the numbers for them 20 or 50 games.

But we all know for sure that Nintendo is dominating the hardware sales from the Switch + 3DS in Japan.
