To my defense the reason for my post was that the post I called out was completely uncalled for with regards to video game sales topics.

The original reason of the moderator was that I insulted the whole community. And he banned me for that. Fair enough.

But then this is only deserving of a warning?

You were banned for calling other users idiots directly (VGC is filled to the brim with idiots like these), which has always been a bannable offense on VGC.

Secondly, your complaint about StarOcean will be unfounded in about 5 minutes or so, he is being dealt with by the moderation team.

I don't have any problems with my ban. The problem I had is that why resort to just warning for extreme cases like this while something like calling people idiots for any particular reason is not elligible for warning?

That's when I question the system VGC has when it comes to moderating.

Also I'd like to praise RavenXtra. He seen I was on a tangent in a thread today and quickly stepped in to get me from going further off topic. Only thing I'll say is people have kept going after his input so should be reminded of what he just said.

And I'd like to ask the same type of good moderating be applied to my threads. Too often a trouble maker is allowed go off on a tangent and the mods dont step in until said thread is well and truly ruined.

On the back seat modding issue. It's been getting out of hand recently. People talk like they are mods openly in threads. Is this a free for all now or what?

I'm sure you will say 1 is 2 weeks of data vs 6 months but it's also a very lazy thread.  You can't judge domination by just the top 10. He didn't even bother listing total software sales for each console this year which paints a clearer picture which console is doing well in terms of SW. 

I don't see why lazy analysis is allowed it's own thread and not told to be discussed in this week's mediacreate. 

I'm in a hurry so want to get everything off my mind asap.  Booted up crash remaster 30mins ago and have played it yet.  

Funny you mention a script though,  because there is a user here clearly following one.  He even went to suggest the mods have no common sense if I'm not moderated.  Talk about reading from a script. 

Because the Nintendo thread could be seen as a legit sales analysis using data from Media Create, while yours was an obvious reaction to the thread itself and your incessant need to cheerlead for Sony above all else, as evidenced by your own post in the thread:
