Wouldn't surprise me if NA got votes for games developed in EU. Games are usually looked at as Western or Asian, leaving people to just assume that the western made game they are playing is American. Especially when its published by an American company.

Apart from Nintendo it has to be North america. Also americans made the best metroid games.

 Then american made games published by Ubisoft like Assassins Creed should count towards europe.

Sorry: Capcom, SquareEnix, NamcoBandai, Atlus, Level5 - Japan has much more than only Nintendo.

There is also a slew of smaller games, like Fast racing Neo, the Point and click games by daedalic studios, the Anno series, all of wich originated in Germany and there is a lot of game developement in Great Britian historically, like Rare and Rockstar North as well as Lionheart. Game developement in europe has certainly shrunken though.

Yeah, I'm not sure what Sega does good for me these days. But they have a great history of games.
