why isn't this under latest stories..? well written and informative. I like how Nintendo handled amiibos because i wasn't required to buy them for my truck load of Wii U and 3DS games. I prefer collecting Killer Instinct Figures.

Are we really supposed to read all of that? I didn't, so I just say that amiibo implementation should be along the lines of being a shortcut to unlock things and not the exclusive way.

Not really, but I  wanted to get in depth. I wanted to summarize it earlier, but O kinda got busy then I started playing Doom to relax, so I never summarized it. I tried to reorganize it and title it to make it easer to navigate through. I also tried to summerize everything under Overall Bullet Points at the bottom.

Around the Network

This was actually a very good OP.

I think the problem, you can read in between the lines in the OP, is, that Nintendo doesn't have a clear direction with Amiibo's. It's pretty much the same thing with everything related to Wii U, where you don't know how anything is used/games are played.
The best use for Amiibos at the moment is either to collect them or play them as action figures/dolls like my kids seem to be doing. Once the Bayonetta Amiibo is out, I have to buy it for my older daughter, who's a Bayonetta fan and wants "to be like Bayonetta, when grown up".

They should've contained each a different game you can play with Wii U/3DS in download play fashion, and/or you should've been able to transfer a Virtual Console/eshop game on it and take a game to a friend and play. Also, there should be game(s) like Skylanders/Infinity you can use them as playable characters.

I don't think there should be just one thing you're able to do with Amiibos, but all of them.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

Maybe make more games that actually support this thing?
