While I can see some disappointment in no Mario at launch, I figured Nintendo would need something to sell at Christmas time and that something can now be Mario. Sucks for us as gamers, but it makes the most business sense.

It isn't. In fact, it is better. The audience that buys BotW is willing to buy Skyrim. The one that buys 3D Mario won't (likely).

Had all my stuff preordered for some time now. EB Games Australia is great in that way, you've even been able to preorder Zelda for WiiU since the tech demo was shown off before the WiiU released

Allegedly Mother 3 is the game that is going to launch the Switch VC.
