Do you actually know what are main reasons why Wii U failed when you can say "Nintendo will not learn"!? Because things we know about Switch for are completely opposite to Wii U, going from initial reveal, easy to understand and interesting concept, strong launch and 1st year lineup, very modern tech and architecture, much bigger initial list of Switches partners and supporters, more affordable rumored price..
Switch can handle modern but downgraded XB1/PS4 ports. Even Super Mario 3D World was good looking, and this new will certainly be even better looking.
Actually Switch has higher chances to be successful than to bomb after release. Power really doesn't matter because Switch is not competing on power with XB1/PS4 same like Wii didn't competing with Xbox 360/PS3 with power.

You seem to see it from a drunk hopefulls eyes. It did not learn its still releasing weak hardware. Switch can also be viewed as as gimmick, a pointless concept. Strong launch and first year is just more baseless hope. Modern tech is a hell of a stretch.
No it wont handle x1/PS4 ports, and none will waste time attempting that fools errond on underpowered nintendo hardware.
What you will get is a shit ton of indies, all those suporters you speak of.
Its directly competing with the other two, power matters greatly if it will lack games due to it lack there of.

Drunk eyes!? You assume that power of Wii U was biggest problem, but that isn't true at all, DS, Wii and 3DS are all very weak hardwares but they didn't failed because of power, DS sold 155 m, Wii more than 100m and 3DS will end up selling 65-70m, despite competition has much more stronger hardware. Hybrid can be also viewed like pointless concept but fact is that Switch is aiming at home console and handheld market in same time, and that's definitely very interesting and strong concept. Strong launch and 1st year linuep its almost certain, Eurogamer, Emily Rogers, Laura Kate Dale, that had almost 100% true track record on NX/Switch infos said Switch is geting new 3D Mario, new Zelda, Pokemon, ports/remaster of best and strongest Wii U games like Mario Kart 8, Splatoon and Smash Bros, and of course some other new games, we talking about one of strongest 1st year line up for Nintendo console ever (and we alone already saw in Switch trailer Zelda, Mario, Mario Kart and Splatoon). Modern tech isn streach at all, Tegra X1 is Nvidia 2015 tech, that pretty modern and more modern than XB1/PS4 that have 2012/2013 AMD tech.
Of Course it will, you are in delusion if you think that devs will make multiplatform games from ground for Switch, of course devs will scale back down and downgrade XB1/PS4 games. Of Course that Switch will have Indies also, but not only them, look at list of official and confirmed Switches partners and supporters, its stronger and bigger than Wii Us.
No, power doesnt matter greatly because Switch does not trying to be another XB1/PS4 and to offer just same games, it aiming to be something similar to Wii compared to PS3/Xbox 360.

What makes you say that? He doesn't mention many specifics other then Memory Bandwidth and it using Maxwell Architecture, but everything he is saying seems to be based on what is believed to be the Switch's Specs.
I don't see anything that suggests he doesn't know what the Switch's Specs are, he seems to know exactly what he's talking about.
" Straightforward code port is not possible."
Basically he's saying you'll need to put work in to make ps4/xbo games run on a system with much less power, I think that's a fairly safe and obvious statement.

His whole opinion sounds it made just on leaked specs we all heard, fact that mention just Memory Bandwidth and Maxwell Architecture without any other details proves that, no mention some detailed and exact specs, or that he knows anything about Switch tools and APIs that Nvidia specifically made for Switch.
