Amazon has issued an official announcement about sales on its website during the holiday period. According to the press release, Pokemon Sun, Pokemon Moon, and Final Fantasy XV were named as best sellers under video games.

Amazon also shared a neat tidbit about Nintendo and Game Freak’s new 3DS titles. “If each Amazon.com customer who purchased Pokemon Sun and Moon this holiday spent at least an hour a day playing the game since its release, our customers would have spent the equivalent of more than 24 thousand lunar cycles capturing Pokemon,” the retailer said.

Curious to see what kind of effect Mario Run will have on the new 3d Mario. Though it probably won't be as big thanks to some of the backlash Mario Run is getting for its price and its not as nostgial heavy as Pokemon Go.

Yes, the Pokemon hype is real

Yes, hardly will have same scope of effect like Pokemon GO because Pokemon GO is much more popular, but Mario Run will definitely have some effect on 2D/3D Mario console games, and most likely already have some effect on Mario Maker for 3DS.

So glad these games were great too so GameFreak will continue making better sequels like these!
