I guess no one would care on a war between Turkey and Russia. Both have a bad reputation. The west will enjoy it.

Takes way more than that to start a war. Countries like China and Russia have too much to lose in a WW3 scenario.
They won't risk it.
On top of that, no one is invading them, no one is trying to install a puppet government, what is the basis of a WW.

Any nation that could start a major war (such as a world war) stands to lose so much more than they would gain from such a situation.

Wait, what? Turkey is part of NATO. Of course USA will (should) "butt in". And the rest of NATO, of course. How is that unreasonable? It would be ridiculous NOT to intervene. And, well, considering Trump this is a plausible scenario.
