Yes Pokemon is huge here but evreyone already played Pokemon Go in July by downloading the apk. Few people care now.

And India is a secular country. We don't all follow one religion. There are Hindus and Buddhists in our country. Also other reliogions like Muslims, Christians and Jains. I think India has the largest population of Muslims in the world.

Download the apk from websites on Android phones. Most people here have Android phones.

Here in South America we also had it late and people downloaded the apk but you could only catch the starter and there were no pokestops or pokemon(I think there were like in the first day but they niantic shut all things down until the game launched officially)

There were Pokestops and Pokemon here :)

Not many Pokestops though but still you could play the game.

So then I'd understand that this news won't make such a big impact
