Probably how it took less than 2 months for it to be in the top 5, and beating an iPhone and a Galaxy Phone.

Edit: And how Nintendo probably barely done any advertising on the Switch.

And the NES is also surprising.

They didn't need to, switch went viral on social media.

And the NES classic also went viral on social media, demand was huge.

Oh wow! Hopefully when Nintendo does start advertising this, there will even be more intrests to it.

Of course a brand new console versus updated consoles would be Googled more. This isn't surprising news at all. We all know the Switch, at one point, was the most mysterious of consoles in recent affairs. It's only right that now it's revealed, people want to know more about it. Everyone already knows about the Pro and the specs of the Scorpio.

well its not free. You pay like 40 pound a month and then get the next model a year later. Does it not work the same where you are from?

I dont use that, so I dont know. Still weird if you get a 800$ phone for 480$ though...

They aren't 12 month contract, they're often 2-3 years and there is a massive thing with them though, unless you sign up for insurance on the phone (which costs more) if you drop or damage the phone you need to shell out a massive amount to have it replaced or else you are left paying your bill every month and have no phone to show for it.

Phone contracts are an amazing money spinning device which are very heavily pushed by phone stores here, find it strange you havent' encountered them too much.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

How many of those google searches for Samsung were paired with terms like "has just exploded" "can I sue them?" or "GTAV mod"

No Microsoft devices on this list, but I'm guessing the results for that would be very different if you were looking at the Bing results.

I know of them, but even if its a 3 year contract and you get every Iphone for like 10 years, then the phone stores have to pay more than what you pay them. Just seems weird. I guess they get the phones way cheaper.

Well some companies tell their consumers everything about their product so they don't have to desperately google for every new bit of information.

Basicly, Nintendo relased just one Switch trailer and showcased it at Jimmy Fallon show (but I am not sure that was considerd in this list beacuse that was last week), no other advertise at all.

Thanks to it's secrecy and hard to obtain info for the switch.

It would more interesting to have a comparison between Swith in 2016 and PS4 and Xbox one in 2013

or if Wii U was often googled before its launch too.

Good for Switch. Nes was the hot item, sadly, it lasted few hours.
