They aren't 12 month contract, they're often 2-3 years and there is a massive thing with them though, unless you sign up for insurance on the phone (which costs more) if you drop or damage the phone you need to shell out a massive amount to have it replaced or else you are left paying your bill every month and have no phone to show for it. I know of them, but even if its a 3 year contract and you get every Iphone for like 10 years, then the phone stores have to pay more than what you pay them. Just seems weird. I guess they get the phones way cheaper.
