My Top 25 Best games of 8th gen so far! Please read! My best thread ever
Originally I came up with this list A YEAR AGO and I came back to it, edited it real hard and now its finished! ALL the games you're about to see on this list are all masterpieces to me. All mean alot to me and has HUGE roles in my gaming life. So here we go!!! Enjoy! All games are measured with Time, Fun, Importance, Soundtrack and Connections with people. I HIGHLY reccomend you read the Top 10 paragraphs.

BONUS: 26) Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc....Gamecube... 2003: The highest ranked Gamecube/Rayman game on this list. I enjoyed this game better than Super Mario Sunshine. Played this alot with my cousin and brings alot of memories. I rebeat this game in 2013 as a PS2 classic and if it wasn't for that time, It would've been ranked lower than 26!
25) ATV Off-road Fury 2.....................PS2.........2003: This game is one of my best PS2 games of allll time. This game was tons of fun with my cousin. I remember once time I had this HUGE lump on my leg (so big, it looked like a 2nd knee). After I had surgery to get it removed I came home crying because I was in pain and this game calmed me down lol... the songs are also great! this game almost didnt make the list.
24) Guitar Hero: Aerosmith...............PS2.........2007: I simply asked my Mom for Guitar Hero for Christmas and got me this! I loved the songs and because of this game, Aerosmith's music has been in my life ever since! Me and my siblings played this for hours!
23) Mario Kart DS...........................DS.............2006: I played the hell out of this so much on DS that there's shiny marks on the D-pad! Played this for hours with my siblings and helped me get through a dark time in 2012. To this day my sisters still play this. Mario Kart DS > Mario Kart 7
22) New Super Mario Bros Wii.......Wii............2009: This game brings back lots of gaming from Christmas 2009=2010 with my sibings. This game is so great and it's the highest ranked 2D Side scrolling game on this list. To this day I still play yearly. NSMBU should've taken notes!
21) WWE Smackdown vs Raw 06....PS2..........2005: Me and my cousin had a blast with this when we first started watching wrestling! Before the bugs would come out we used to wrestle on the trampoline and come inside, eat popcorn, drink slushes and play this game! The soundtrack is great and some of the songs are on my Spotify. This game is so great in every way. Wrestling is in my blood... but that's another story
20) Rocket League.........................PS4...........2015: Every year is a gaming christmas, but 2015 my family was on a budget and we couldn't afford much. All I could afford was 2 $20 PSN cards and when I got this game, IT WAS GREAT. It made it a gaming christmas lol. To this day Im pretty good at this game and I play for hours at nights with people! Spotify and Rocket League is heaven.
19) Zelda: Wind Waker...........NGC/Wii U....2004/13: I've rented this game when I was a kid and loved it! but since I never beat it, I bought the HD version 3 years ago and LOVED this masterpiece. I'd say where this ranks in the Zelda franchise but I don't want to ruin the list ranks. Great music and great story!
18) Super Mario 3D Land.............3DS...............2012: The levels, the soundtrack, the sounds, the graphics, the design are good! I guess why one of the main reasons is I like this game so much is because I met a great group of friends while I was playing this. I go more into detail in my previous list :)
17) Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock..PS2............2008: Now this game was way better than Aerosmith! Better songs, greater memories, played with more people, and spent more time on this! Everything about this game is great! I got up to hard mode and couldn't really play all the songs. I have alot of great songs on my Spotify playlist from this game.
16) Super Mario 3D World...........Wii U............2013: I wasn't hyped for this game at first at E3 but when more gameplay came out, I was really hyped!! Watching gameplay on a weekly basis until i evetually got this for Christmas. I beat this game 100% and raged alot in the end. But it was all worth it! My favorite 3D Mario to date!
15) Mario Kart 8...........................Wii U...........2014: I got this day 1! After a 15 minute run in gym class, I still went for a 20 minute walk and back just to buy this game! Worth every penny! The graphics blew me away, the gameplay was fun the music was good. Like wow! it was the ulimate Mario Kart experience ever! It's the 2nd highest ranked Mario Kart game on the list. One of my most played Wii U games ever! I still play monthly and I will get the Switch version!
14) Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3.. PS2....2010: This is the LAST PS2 game I've bought. This game was something special and its game I almost didnt buy! I went to a Bazaar at my school with my Mom (its a yearly thing for us). We came across this section of old games and there it was looking at me! I've been a HUGE fan of DBZ since as kid. And I played the hell out of this game! Beat the story mode many times, unlocked everything. This game is a masterpiece!
13) The Last of Us/DLC.......................PS3/4 ....2013: Now I think everyone else is going to speak to me. I'm just like everyone else. Bought the game summer of 2013, loved it and its one of the greats. I also beat the DLC on the PS4 verion
12) Super Smash Bros 64....................N64.......2004: Well I do admit, I did play this game abit late but get this... I actually STOLE this game when I was a kid lol. Let me explain! I thought this was my Moms Dr Mario that she lent to my cousins. I went visiting and I told her this is her game. Once we got home, I put it into the system... And its Smash bros?! As a kid, I never returned it and it became one of my greatest games of all tme lol.
11) WCW/nWo: Revenge...................N64.......2003: Me and my Cousin were at my Uncles when he asked if he could borrow this game. My uncle allowed him to and that created the first Revenge career for both me and him. Eventually my cousin gave this to me and it was magical! I played this for hour and hours with him and my older brother. As a big wrestling fan this was heaven to me. Great music, endless laughs. I was SUPRISED this game didn't make it in the top ten! but this game soo great. Way better than WWE games of today.

10) Splatoon.................................Wii U.........2015: I don't think any other game hyped me up as much as Splatoon did last year. I remember watching every gameplay/trailer I could lay my mouse on! This game is so great in every way! Sure at launch it lacked lots of features like lack of content and voice chat. Even though the game offered more content, adding voice chat would've ranked this game alot higher! The sounds, the music, the gameplay this game sooo great! Best shooter of this gen!
9) Mario Party..............................N64.............2005: I have no idea where I got this game from. But let me tell you this! This game is the a VERY great multiplayer game! Me and my siblings, cousins and my brother would play the hell out of this game! I played this until I moved out of my house back in my hometown. This game is so brilliant and newer Mario Party games will NEVER be good as they were before. I was suprised this game made it to the top ten. Music in this game is also brilliant!
8) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time....N64/3DS...2000: The greatest video game of alll time! I don't care what anyone says, this game will always be #1. Uncharted, Mario and GTA has nothing on Zelda. This game was one of my first games ever as a kid (nearly a toddler). And this brings back soooo many memories. I bought this game on the 3DS and fell in love again. I beat this game many times and everytime it never got old. Music is legendary, the dungeons are great... like wow. The Ganon fight at the end? CHILLING.
7) The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.....N64/3DS.....2000: Now this game in my opinion is way better than Ocarina of time! I do admit, Ocarina had a larger impact than Majora did in my life but because of Majora Mask's music, storyline, and everything else... made MM a better game. To me Majora's Mask suprassed Ocarina in everything. I love the darkest Zelda game ever. It's spooky, so many creepypasta and theories made me love this game even more. This is the HIGHEST ranked Zelda game on this list. I played this at my cousins place on N64 and bought it on 3DS. This game is a masterpiece and best Zelda ever to me. Breath of the Wild won't be a better game. Majora's Mask will always be my favorite Zelda ever.
6) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas........XB/PS2/PS3/PS4..... 2005: I've played this game on soo many platforms, spent soo much time having fun with cheat codes with my friends and cousins. I had a cheat book that made this game awesome! I beat this game too, the story was also great. I've bought this game 3 tmes, and the PS2 version belonged to my cousins. Great music, fun moments and its the ONLY ranked Xbox game ever on this list (I think the 2nd highest ranked game is at top 30?). To this day I can go on my PS4 and have a good time on San Andreas.
5) Super Smash Bros 4..................Wii U/3DS..............2014: I remember buying this game on 3DS, that exact day I never knew it would've been in m top 5 greatest games of allll time. I've had TONS of laughs where I went quiet. I had TONS of rages where I'd come on here and complain (Git gud nintation!) and soo many funny videos on my youtube channel (not gonna advertise, but if you wanna subscribe to me, message me) I enjoyed both versions of this game and love each one! On my greatest 8th gen game list 3DS was #11 and Wii U version was ranked #1. Both of these versions combined brings Smash 4 to #5 on this list! Music is amazing! Graphics are amazing, and Wii U version is the highest ranked best graphics game on this list (at 1080p 60fps). This game is WAY better than Brawl and Melee combined. Thank you Nintendo for making the best fighting game ever! (Beating Steet Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat ect ect)
4) Grand Theft Auto V.....................PS3/4..................2013: Now if it wasn't for the PS3 version, this game would've been ranked Top 15. But this game is the greatest game of last gen! Yes I'm going to say it, its better than the last of us. 2013 was one of the best years ever for me and ending it off with GTA V was pure heaven! Me and my cousins would play this all night drinking slurpees and eating nachos from 7/11. Such great memories! The storyline was good but the multiplayer was EPIC. It was liike our virtual life! I had tons of friends on there, tons of laughs and to this day I'm still in great contact with them! Me and my real life friend had a fight(not physical) because I was playing with this person more than her lol but eventually we made up. The PS4 version was the version me and my cousin actually played online together!! Since he got a PS4 instead of Xbox One. I got a BUNCH of songs on my phone that came from this game! The soundtrack is better than San Andreas. The PS3 version was the suprior version by far! GTA V was soo great and I cant wait for GTA 6. The 2 versions combined made a mastepiece!! I still play GTA V every 2 months or so. Thank you Rockstar for giving me a time of my life!
3) Mario Kart 64...............................N64.......2000: This the the FIRST GAME IVE EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE. My older brother confirms it. I remember as a child playing this game for hours and hours! The music are alll heavonly melodies, I know all courses by heart and this will forever be my #1 Mario game ever. I've played this with my cousins and babysitter(who has like a 2nd Mom to me at the time) and wow. I love thiis game with a passion! The best Mario game for battle modes too. Without this game there wouldn't be any N64 games on this list! This game started it all!
2) WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007..... PS2.....2006: As a die hard wrestling fan THIS game has a HUGE role in my wrestling life. 2006 was the year I got serious with wrestling, never missing an episode of WWE and buying wwe merch. This game allowed me to know WWE alot better. I know who Hulk Hogan faced at Wreslemania. I know where John Cena is from. I know how many championships Mick Foley had. I knew what moves I wanted to use if I became a wrestler. I spent HOURS AND HOURS on this game and KNEW EVERYTHNG about this game. I created so many wrestlers, move-sets, awesome entrances and played tons of matches! 2006 was a good game, 2008 was an okay game but 2007 was the game for me. I don't know why either! This game WILL be the reason I'll buy the Xbox Scorpio, this game was released on the 360 and once Scoprio drops I'm going to buy it and buy this game online on backwards compat and enjoy it once again!!! Best game on PS2 in my opinion! You can't see me!!
Before I name my greatest game of alll time. I've like to thank my Cousins, siblings and online friends for playing with me! What if I played Mario Party alone? It would've been ranked 30 or something! My brother made my gaming life so good by getting me the N64 games. Tons of cousins who I played with on GTA V, Mario Kart, gaming with people makes the games better! Okay..My greatest game of all time is............
1) Conker's Bad Fur Day!.............N64........2001: This game is my greatest game of all time is because of everything. It's always been my favorite. The multiplayer has always been the best multiplayer experience ever. The story is soo sad and interestng and the ending was sooooo AMAZING. I've had many laughs with my cousins playing multiplayer. The music is catcy, the graphics for the N64 was the best and I DON'T KNOW! I LOVE THIS GAME!! AHAHAHAHA. Better than Zelda, Mario, Splatoon, Smash Bros and GTA. This game made me laugh alot as a kid and I beat the story SOOO many times. I was SOOO obsessed with this game! I'll forever support a sequel to this game. Conker I love you and this game is my greatest game of all time! Thank you Rare.
