They've gotten trickier with getting your money in general, like putting as much content as DLC as possible so used copies are worth far less. I got two PS4s, so I figure it'd be no problem playing online with the wife, then we tried, ESO...all DLC expansions are locked to one PSN account (meaning you have to double dip for every expansion)!

Put both your accounts on both PS4s. If you bought a game/dlc with account A, play the game with account A on your secondary PS4 and with account B on your primary account. This way the primary PS4 should also have access to the digital content of the other account.
Used games for the PS4 are very pricy still here in Canada.
Usually only 10% below retail..

That's the way it works with all other games, but apparently not ESO. I misspoke earlier, everything outside the main game is locked to your ESO account. You can share vanilla ESO, but that's it.

"After Microsoft created a controversy with an ambiguous used-games policy at the launch of the Xbox One, Sony's striking back with a simple message to gamers: "We won't impose any restrictions on used games" for the PS4."
This happened.

A bogeyman concocted by an anti-consumer industry to excuse the DRM methods they come up with to please shareholders. As we can see from the sales of games this holiday, the only thing holding down sales is buyer apathy. Due to the lack of excitement toward the products that are currently on the market. Pubs too eager to force new franchises and running the old ones into the ground instead of exploring new ideas and formulas first.

People's preference for digital over physical has helped solve the problem. Also, publishers are finding new ways to make money: season passes, microtransactions
