Is that what you think Communism is? An end to oppression and exploitation?

All examples of Communist societies in the real world have oppressed and exploited the vast majority of the population for the benefit of the elite. But even the mythical "real Communism" would be oppressive, stifling the most intelligent and most responsible people and propping up the least intelligent and least responsible.

Society ought to promote and reward the best people, not drag everyone down to the same level.

Equality is an unnatrual lie. Nothing in nature is equal.

How does capitalism reward the best people? There are those who are merely merely because their parents were, and there are those who work 60+ hours a week to just barely afford basic necessities.

I dunno, if you work 60+ and struggle for necessities in most cases you probably made some poor life decisions (assuming there were no medical issues).

For example, I'll never understand women that make multiple children with a useless man and no job skills. That might be the primary cause of poverty in the US.

No party or group is really being censored. The left just does more bitching about speech they're opposed to.

Disagree if you want, but its reality. Even the liberal media admits it, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/greg-lukianoff/the-10-worst-colleges-for_b_9243000.html

So, that's who you're counting as leftists? Liberals? Do you realize that leftists are against liberalism?

The left is against liberalism but panders for their votes.

This is why Hilary kept calling Trump sexist, racist, etc. She wanted those liberal votes and it worked well in a few states. Maybe she should have spent a little more time on real issues... but I'm glad she didn't.

The question is, why should there be poverty in the first place? There are billionaires who are never going to spend even close to what they have, why hoard all of that money?

Hillary is not a lefist. Leftists oppose both Hillary and Trump.

That is a non-sequitur. I never said that Capitalism rewards the best people. Criticizing Communism is not the same thing as defending Capitalism. In fact, I think Capitalism also leaves a lot to be desired. However, it still does a better job than Communism in rewarding people with more intelligence and a lower time preference.

So, if you don't support capitalism nor socialism, than what do you support? Feudalism? Also, I think that it would be better to base society on helping those in need rather than only focusing on those who don't. Why should less intelligent people live a life a hardship because they were born with a lower IQ than others?

I don't have to be in perfect agreement with a pure economic system to prefer it to another. A capitalist economy can have socialist elements within it, and some sort of mixture would be best. History shows that the most intelligent people create the technology, infrastructure, and art that improve the lives of everyone. These people should be incentivized to use their intelligence in socially productive ways, and Communism completely fails to do this.

Forcing people into a life of hardship is not what I support either. My issue with current Western societies is that the nature of the welfare state produces dysgenic fertility in the population. The poorest people in society more often than not lack the intelligence or temperament to be productive. As these traits are highly heritable, they are passed on through the generations, producing a permanent underclass. This gives the appearance of unfairness, but it is just the reality of genetics. Everyone in a society is worse off, intelligent or not, the lower the average IQ is.  Sensible welfare policies should be tailored to encourage fertility among smart, conscientious people, and this can be done in a completely voluntary manner. The only reason no government does this (besides China) is because of the involuntary eugenics practiced by unsavory regimes in the past, and the baffling refusal to accept reality among the egalitarian left, which believes that all humans are identical blank slates.

I'm not saying Hilary was the ideal candidate of liberals, but its the one most voted for.

With that said a lot of republicans didn't like Trump but supported him because... fuck Hilary.

I don't think you understand what I mean. Liberals and Hillary are not leftists. They are centrists. Leftists want to completely eliminate the current system and replace it with a new one, while centrists try to appease both the left by having a welfare state/certain social benefits and the right by maintaining capitalism and allowing free speech to racists/sexists/homophobes.

You can't have a capitalist economy with socialist elements. Socialism is against capitalism. What you're thinking of is social democracy, which maintains capitalism while providing certain social services. Your second paragraph confuses me: are you supporting social darwinism? Do you believe that we should also only allow certain races that are deemed superior to breed while sterilizing the others?

That's the thing about left wingers like yourself, you focus on situations where people may have lost their job, maybe health issues, and they could no longer support a family.

What I'm telling you is a lot of women start a family with a useless man and no job skills and that's a significant cause of poverty. Statistically many single mothers don't even have a high school diploma.

Wealth redistribution doesn't solve poor life decisions, it enables that behavior and eventually you have a country going broke. I mean poverty could go down drastically if people just made better life decisions and didn't rely on government to provide for them. But hey, that's just my right wing logic.

None of this is surprising. Conservatives have been manipulating language in order to control the conversation for decades. The wanton use of "socialist" in our discourse is just one example.

A left-winger accusing right-wingers of language manipulation?  My irony meter just exploded!

Replace the word "socialist" with "racist", "sexist", "mysoginist", "xenophobic", "Islamophobic" etc  in that meme, and you basically have the modern left's favorite mode of attack to stifle their critics... automatically labeling anyone who disagrees with their ideology with any or all of those terms.
