They might just have made back, what they lost in gap, to the Xbox One those NPDs they lost earlier, this November.

And they won cyber monday, so their off to winning December NPD.

Then you start looking at the game lineup early 2017...... PS4 is going to keep winning until Scorpio releases, imo.

I seriously think that as much as Microsoft is going to promote the Scorpio, it's going to be received by the consumer with very little fanfare.

Technically 300k is still close. You just admitted sony had a fire sale+2 new consoles+vr everything but the kitchen sink and they only win by 300k? you would expect total domination. Anything below 300k is close in my opinion. 

Unless I am mistaken, didn't MS have more bundles for the XB1s than Sony had for the PS4?

Werent both consoles discounted and retailing for under $220 in most places?

Didnt PS4s come out in September?

Didn't PSvr come out in October and doesn't it cost $400? Unless you are suggesting that new buyers wanted the PSvr so much that they were willing to spend $700-$800 for it and a console all in one month. 

Ah well, whatever rocks your boat I guess.

PS4 lineup for 2017....  as long as Sony does price matching to the Xbox One, I seriously doubt that happends.

One of those months were amazing sales burning off the original Xbox one consoles.  One of those months were all the pre-orders from the xbox one S.

The other two of those months had Forza, Gears, and Recore. A lot of bundles. AND the ps4 "leeching" sales.

Keeping that in mind - their "lead" was 266K across 4 months. Rumors have it that Sony won by at least 300k this ONE month.

Also you have the switch coming out next year.

Yet you think the xbox one S will win at least SEVEN months up against the ps4 and the switch? Why?

Why did you use excuses for Xbox One but forget that PS4 Pro launched in November? Don't you think a major console LAUNCH is going to have a tiny impact on the numbers and skew them a little?

The other two months? 47,500 and 94,000.

In total across these 4 months? 266,200.

Shhhhhh..... common sense not allowed here.

We don't know how much the gap is, but ig its around 300k, then its telling that in one month PS4 negated 4 months of XB1 wins. Even if the gap is only 150k it's still something. 

But now the rhetoric has shifted from best valued console, making a comeback to gap is small so it's not really a win.

Yh lets just ignore all the reasons why thst happened. Lets also ignore that in the one month in question sony vould have wiped off what it took 4 Mo the for MS to do. Let's also forget that even with those 4 months of wins the XB1 is still over 1M behind the PS4. 

And winning November matters a lot. It's only one of the two months in the year that the most consoles are sold.

He didnt forget PS4pro.

The PS4pro coming arguably helped give MS at lesst one of the months it won. 

And none of whst he said were excuses. They were all facts. All things thst happened.

With the kind of lineup (or more accurately, lack thereof) the XBO has for early 2017, doubtful...

Also, no one was saying winning four months was a fluke. If you read my comment, for example, I was commending Microsoft for their strategic SKU releases.
