I kind of wish I would have done the same thing as you. What's the point of showing your cards when most other people won't show theirs?

It's only me and my cat so I don't have to worry about my hair :D But it doesn't matter anyways because as I get older I care less and less about what others think about my looks. For example when I was younger a friend of mine had a convertible and I used to hate going in it because the wind would do a number on my hair and I was afraid a girl would see it messed up. Now it wouldn't bother me in the least. That's not to say I'm a slob or anything, I dress up nice and make sure my hair is combed, if I'm going out.

As for not caring about my looks, I was awoken early today by a knock on my front door, I quickly put on a tshirt and with my pajama bottoms on I go to the door without even looking in the mirror, I knew I probably had bed head but I thought "what the hell" and opened it.

It was a f'n Jehovah's Witness (a female and she was pretty hot actually) and she looks at me and said "Oh, I hope I didn't wake you up." and I said "No, you just caught me on my way out actually", she had kind of a surprised look and chuckled and handed me a flyer for a meeting they're having in 2 weeks. Anyways the old me would have been rushing to put on jeans and a nice top, been in the bathroom making sure my hair was combed, etc before opening the door. I'm not sure if it's confidence or that I just don't care but it doesn't matter it's good to not be fixated on looks.
