  • A mainline Pokemon game and a proper Animal Crossing are two games that Wii U never had.
  • These two games are arguably the ones that clock the most time on people's 3DS.
  • Their sales outstanding.
  • Nintendo Switch is extremely likely to get these, we're already hearing about that Pokemon Stars thing and a new Animal Crossing is long overdue.
  • Nintendo exclusives and nice third party games are helpful but that didn't turn out too well for Wii U.

Dont forget Sm4sh Bros. Yes the game was on both the Wii U and 3DS but the sales numbers speak for themselves.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

Switch FC: SW-0398-8858-1969

That's a little too vauge to really make a decision one way or another.

But yeah those two series will do wonders for the Switch.

Mario Kart + Smash Bros + Pokemon + AC would = a hit imo

Just like the first Xbox only needed Halo.

It needs a sustainable glow of good games to be successful. It needs to have an exclusive software output greater than either the Xone aor PS4, to make up for some third party titles not releasing on the Switch. A single game might sell great but it will not make the console a succes. Mario Kart Wii sold 30m and even though Mario Kart 8 sold great it couldn't save the Wii u.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Game cube had both

What a delusional statement. Sorry.

With these two franchises it will probably outsell the WiiU, but it needs other games too to be actually successful (+50 million consoles sold).

Pokemon Colosseum doesn't count as a mainline game and AC really became a sales monster with the DS version.
