I don't think we'll find out how well it'll sell until the $249 deal ends on the Uncharted bundle. At the end of the month.

It should replace the Uncharted bundle and give the PS4 a bit of a boost. If sales start to trend significantly down YoY over the next few months, we might see a permanent reduction to $249.

I think Sony are hoping that their stellar software lineup for 2017 will allow them to hold the $299 price tag.

If in a week or so, there's no movment, this would make sense. However, after one day, seems too soon to make this call. Your old habits are catching back up to you. ;)

Agree, there's a bundle $50 cheaper right now.

I think Xbox will beat PS4 handily in the US for December, and honestly, I think Sony deserves it. They had ONE bundle for the holidays. One. And they didn't even make a bundle with call of duty? Or a bundle centered around children e.g. Ratchet and clank bundle? Crazy. Meanwhile, Xbox had a bundle for everyone.

I think Sony not only stands to lose their momentum in the US, but also stands to lose activision as a partner. If I was activision, I'd be pissed. Their major competitor, Battlefield 1, had its partner promote the hell out of it. Commercials and ads galore, Xbo bundles, special edition battlefield 1 Xbox ones, etc.

I think Sony really crapped the bed this holiday, and I just don't get their decisions and approach.
